It’s not about is Breece better than a 3rd round pick. Obviously he is. It’s more about his contract being up at the end of the season and there is no guarantee that he’d sign with whoever he is traded to, so do you risk losing a 3rd round pick for half a season of Hall and do you have the cap space to sign him next year anyway.

Chiefs messed up. Breece would have been an instant star in their backfield with Patrick.
I hope for Breece's sake he ends up on a winner, not on the Vikings.

After last night's game, it's clear Breece needs to get as far away from the Jets as possible after this season. The fact that they are still rolling Fields out there every week is beyond insane. Fields absolutely sucks and Breece needs to get on a team that can use his talents while he's still in his prime!!! I just hope the Jets don't tag him and force him to stay.
