Wigginton news (until he is back) thread

Maybe immobilizing it assists with the recovery time? (disclaimer: I have no idea).

Foot/ankle injuries can be funny sometimes.

I'm not an actual doctor, but they may not be able to firmly diagnose what exactly it is with swelling and the sheer number of bones and tand because of that the cast is a precaution. I think the thing you really have to worry about with feet are Lisfranc injuries.

So weird that double-digit off-the-record sources step up to contribute to a sketchy piece on Hoiberg and Pollard and not a single person comes forward to confirm this injury that people have been speculating about for last 18-20 hours, until suddenly every Cyclone media outlet reports it at exactly the same time. Sources!
Regime change

I was guessing lisfranc injury initially when heard foot strain. There are varying degrees and some involve fractures and some may not. There can be multiple joints involved and if that’s the case it can be a difficult rehab.

Welp, throw the young guys in the fire. Lets see what they got against high major competition.

We beat Iowa with Jeff Beverly as a starter and Hans Brase playing major minutes last year. I’m not exactly feeling terrible about our chances this year with or without Wigginton

I would agree if we had Young, Lard and Talley.

That's 4 certified ballers that you are down.

I don't know wtf a clown hok is, but I can assure you that you don't need Wigginton to win that game. Hell you don't need Lard either. Just roll out guys 6 to 10 from your bench and you'll be fine.

6 to 10 is like the new 2-6 at ISU currently.

Uh, I did last night, bro, where were you?

Better now than 2 months from now.

The best was when it happened just as we were all seeing just how legit of a chance the '14 team had in the tournament after the first two days of games concluded and it was clear they could beat anyone.
