Why was Godfrey Suspended?

I was a bit out of the loop when Godfrey was suspended, was there ever a reason stating why?

It's interesting that he was suspended for 3 games, while Railey only got 2 for OWI.

He only got 2, but was clearly punished a lot more. He lost a lot of playing time in following games.

Thank you. We don't need to villify a freshman when there is clearly no evidence to do so. His bloodwork must have come back by now, so I suspect if he had been under alcoholic influence we would know by now.

I was kind of interested that Godfrey was allowed to be at the game yesterday and RAiley wasn't at the home game he was suspended for.

I have no idea, but I could see the possibility that after Railey, Hoiberg told the guys that they better walk the straight and narrow because the next guy to get into trouble was going get hit even harder.

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that we have a bunch of transfers that are on a very short leash, and Hoiberg figures he needs to be consistent in punishment for everyone on the team. It hurts to have him out, but I think Fred is taking the right track on that.

Good.......he's one of my favorite players with how hard he plays. He has a ton of potential if he keeps it up and keeps his nose clean.

Interesting since alcohol in cough medicine even can register on blood or breathalyzer test. I thought a minimum was to rule out things like that.

Iowa's zero tolerance law means that minors who have a BAC at least .02 and less than .08 are guilty of DUI. They are not if less than .02.
