I always thought the walking cy would be a cool oversized logo something like boise st does. When it is the entire side of the helmet. Has anyone ever made a mock up of that

Yep, know they do mock ups, just thought they looked pretty sharp for being thrown together. The cyclone would look really good with the metallic look to it as well.
I agree that the walking Cy would be a great oversized logon the helmet like boise state.
Back to the new all-white for a minute. Here’s how I’d select the road unis this season:
Cardinal-white-cardinal:
at Iowa
at Texas
All-white:
at TCU
at Oklahoma State
at Kansas
I could go either way with the KU game, and I’d consider all-white for Iowa game. I figure if they went to the expense of adding a white helmet, I imagine they want to use it more than twice.

A little creeped out that you know I'm wearing striped panties right now.
I don't know why but I love the tornado helmet. I realize it's a poor mock up but would be sweet if these were an actual helmet.

I like that white-white-cardinal more than I would’ve guessed.
I doubt I’d rank it above C-W-C, all-white or cardinal-white-gold.
That funnel does truly does "snap/pop" on the white helmet.
And I'm one of the Criner Crybabies and the lukewarm-about-white-helmet-as-primary clubs.
The partial color blindness in me would be hesitant to go all-white against another team that has all-white helmets, i.e. Texas, and possibly OK St or Kansas depending on what option they both choose. But that's just me.........and Vinny Testaverde.
I think all we know now is that we have a new White helmet. I think they may opt for a second helmet color this year, but just a guess. I've been guessing they might keep the Red lid, put the new stripes on, but they may surprise me/us, and go w/ a yellow lid also. We also may just have a White lid this year. We shall see. I think "Gold" is something they 'might' consider later as a special alternate, but I'm pretty sure they will keep the current color scheme (cardinal/yellow).
I would like to see a mock-up of the old style gold lid, maybe w/ the new stripe, on the current (or any proposed) red/yellow ISU color scheme uniform. Not sure how that would look. I don't think they will change all the current yellow, to all gold, no yellow. The AD himself said so to me a while back. But who knows? Things change, and we don't know yet what CMC is really pushing for yet.
I could dig that, too, as long as it fits well w/ full uniform (probably requires the white jersey/pants would match it best).
