While I won't completely disagree w/ you, I think CMC knows what he is doing. If he chooses to do this, all red, w/ white lid, it wouldn't be my first choice, but I'm not going to worry about it.

And it matters how often some combos are used. Maybe Toledo rarely used white-blue-blue..
Those things are going to come into play the more options we get. There will be sets some fans despise and some that many people like a lot, hopefully they make the best choices for all possibilities, keep it fairly limited and not anything-goes.
Oregon has almost unlimiated permutations, and really only about a half-dozen truly dazzle me and several I think are awful.
Don't go overboard, I'm not saying that at all.
Just concerning from a uniform standpoint, that's all. It's not a good look at all. I do not want to see the white helmet at home for the most part, unless we somehow wear all white.
I think the white red white at home would amazing. I really like the white numbers with the white helmet and white pants. Go back to the red white red aways. I would happier than a pig in slop.

I agree. White red white and white gold white would be cool to see. I think when we get new uniforms we will have helmets that are red, gold, and white. I think it would just be cool this season to use the white Helmets as much as possible.
Fair enough. All we know at this point is that we now have White helmet/White Away uni's. Beyond this it's anyone's guess. If Coach and his players want White lids, Red jerseys at Home, I'm OK with that. Would I like to see the Red/Yellow lids as alternates? Yes. Do I think the White lid/Red/Red combo would be a bad look? Yes. But I don't think that would happen too often.
Keep in mind that I think everything will change to something complely new, next year, other than the helmets. This year, it's the helmets, and we still aren't sure if the White helmet is the only option.
Oink, oink! And it would really be great to have the White numbers on the Red jersey, but that isn't going to happen for this year (not the year in advance uniform change needed w/ Nike). So that's probably just a pipe dream.
Rust, if you are referring to the Away all-whites, you are likely correct. However, having the occasional option to go Away red/white/red is a good look also.
If IS happened to also add a gold helmet, and center stripes on all 3 helmet version, using current uniform design, these are my top choices for regular use:

For some reason I think I'm going to be in the minority here, but I would like to see a "white out" at home late in the season when it's cold like against WVU. It doesn't have to happen every year, just here and there, throw it in there.

Walking Cy is pretty good, but the tornado mock up is a horrible Photoshop attempt.
