White Helmets!!

For some reason I think I'm going to be in the minority here, but I would like to see a "white out" at home late in the season when it's cold like against WVU. It doesn't have to happen every year, just here and there, throw it in there.

The problem with that is if it in late in the year you run the very real risk that it will be quite cold and everyone will bundle up rather than wearing the white shirt provided. Not everyone has a white coat. I suppose it could be large enough that it fits over most people's coats but then it is pretty much useless after that to everyone.

Good point.

If it snows, though, I suppose that solves the problem.

Good point...I was being selfish since most of the games I make it back home to are later in the season

The gold one looks good, but most of the white ones aren't very good.

Pretty much agree. The white helmet looks good on an all white uni, just never thought it was the best color helmet to go with our red and gold colors. If we're going with an all one color uni I'd like to see an all gray. Still think a gold helmet and gold pants makes the best combo for our basic uni and go with combos from there. But the white helmet adds something new for this year and I have a feeling we'll see a whole new look with different combos in 17.

Played around w/ the Yellow jersey. What would it look like w/ White numbers, white lid...

Older image, but still like it for an alternate just here and there, maybe not even every year.

Steven Wright unwittingly predicted the next hot trend in College Football uni's:

[h=1]“My school colors were clear. We used to say, 'I'm not naked, I'm in the band.'”[/h]

hmmm, not sure how I feel about the yellow unis. The all white are sharp though.

Not my favorite, but that combo definitely needs a yellow helmet or the regular cardinal one. I cannot stand a white helmet on a uniform that contains no other white. Hell, just add a white accent stripe to the jersey and pants and it would probably solve the issue. With the white helmet, it just looks like an unfinished option, like you are taking parts off of a shelf, with not concern on how they match. It was my issue when the white helmets were first presented way back when this uniform was introduced.

The white helmets look awesome with the all white uniforms, they kind of burn my eyes though here as they look so out of place.

Not that you give a hoot what methinks, but these unies are a huge upgrade from the Trojan look.

Like the the white helmets, particularly.

Never cared for high school look solid unies, like the all-yellows pictured above in this thread, but to each his own.
