I thought he was dead initially, but that makes no sense that someone could just wonder out of the park and just disappear. They would have that place monitored every which way. I'm of the opinion he was just humiliating him, leaving him tied up and naked to be picked up by security.
After talking to my wife and some of my co-workers I think I am the only person with this opinion, but I didn't think the show was that good. Just reminded me of an M Knight Shyamalan movie where people are confusing good writing for Plot Twists
The difference being, even if you think it is just plot twists, is that it is supported by some really good acting. A nice change from all of the wooden comic book acting in the usual network cop and drama tripe.

Oh dear lord, I enjoyed the show. Loved it. I have no problem suspending disbelief and being entertained. That doesn't mean I turn my brain off afterward, though. It's possible to both enjoy something and recognize its boundaries.
Your logic is so intellectually dishonest. Your example of Santa is perfect evidence. You love Santa. Great, me too. It's magical to see my kids talk about him, and see how much joy it brings. I love my memories of being a child and experiencing it. I love every bit of it. But, that doesn't mean that I have to ignore the implausibility of it. That doesn't take anything away from it. I think it actually enhances it. And if it did take away, that would only be a measure of the smallness of one's own mind. Thank goodness I don't have that problem.
I've never been accused of being a deep thinker.
I can't tell good acting from bad (lucky for YOU Costner) but I do appreciate a character growing throughout the season. And for a bunch of pre-programmed robots, there was BUTTLOADS of growth for almost every character. In fact, the only characters that didn't seem to grow were the humans but I think the writers had that as a goal.

Agreed. The show goes out of its way to show humanity in a terrible light. The staff are mostly all corrupt, unethical, and scheming. The human guests, outside of a few, are depicted as bumbling tourists. That's not a coincidence. It's basically the whole point.
I think the acting is good, and I enjoy the show, but some of the groundhog day, repeated looping got a bit tiresome for me.
Also - I think it would have been cool to see some of the current "real" world, and also had a few more guest storylines.
I found the singular message, "humans bad, hosts good" to be a bit too simple.
I'm not trying to be critical, just things I think would have made it more interesting.
If it was possible to create such "real" people and animals, think of the money some would spend to have a family member, friend, or pet that passed like Hopkins did for his old family. I think there would be way more money in that, then creating a "park."

I think that was on purpose to show how it affected the hosts. Ford (I think it was him) even said that the majority of the hosts ended up going insane because of it.

This is pure spitballing, but might Logan be Wyatt? He's become a completely unhinged human leading hosts in a reign of terror in the fringes of the park.
