Yeah, i'm pretty sure the bots stay with the narrative but adapt if the guests guide it elsewhere.

The pulling the empty safe out of the saloon thing happens everyday at a set time.

One of the author's other good points is about how it doesn't make a lot of sense that something like WestWorld would even come to be in the first place. We know it's the only attraction of its kind out there. So, if that's true, it doesn't make any sense that it would be as big as it is, and only dedicated to the Western theme. It would make much more sense if the park was divided up into smaller, different themed areas, more like the book. Creating the outer, more dangerous, areas that most of main characters find themselves in would be counter to good business, as most people wouldn't go there. Like the giant party in Pariah, how many of the people there were hosts, and how many were guests? 10 to 1 hosts to guests? I can't imagine any corporation approving that.

Can't you suspend disbelief with the goal of being entertained? I'm guessing there was at least 1 plot hole in Star Wars but it was still a tremendous movie. I love GoT and you'll probably tell me dragons aren't physically capable of flight, breathing AND fire.

I don't think Santa is real, but I love the idea that he might be.

This episode was great. The revelation about Maeve was suprising as well as Ford's intentions all along. That really changed the perspective of his character.

I enjoyed the bit about the Samurai's. There are more "worlds" possibly...

I really loved the episode -- was getting a little tired of some of the stuff but am looking forward to a 2nd season.

The part where MIB started walking towards the woods while they repeated the end of Exit Music For a Film with the underlying Westworld theme was awesome!

New reddit theory: everyone thought the host Ford was building when he killed Theresa was a Theresa replacement but new theory suggests he was building himself. The Ford that was killed in the final scene was a either really him or a host of him. Either way he will be alive somehow either human or fully conscious host. Early in the season he notes old hosts could be given away by a simple handshake. Then the scene when he shakes Bernard's hand there is an odd highlight given to his hand.

Interesting theory. He seems too egotistical to allow himself to be killed, so I would go with the host replacement theory. But I thought I read a rumor that SAH will not be back. Maybe some cameos.

Good ending. Brought enough together to satisfy me, but left enough out there to make WW2 an interesting attraction. Like Charlotte, I am hoping for a "simpler" next season. Seen enough Dolores flashbacks.

Possibly, and that would be awesome, but didnt they already say he wont be back on the show? Or is that just speculation.

I don't think he does. He just rides off on the horse. (IIRC, of course)

Tied to a horse, naked and released at what William referred to as the edge of the park. My take was this would be outside of park surveillance/security and management and he would die out there without rescue. It was pretty clear to me William was killing him and taking the company over per their conversation.

That unexplained host being built does leave a lot of options for continuation. I was in the it's going to be a "Theresa" crowd but that got snuffed out quickly in the next episode.

I so loved the ending. Armistice, that little giggle she gave when she fired the automatic weapon... and the sheer ecstasy on her face. That really made my night. And then the post-credits scene. God I love her so much now.
I thought it was great. Ford's redemption was a great story for me. The whole time I thought he was just pure evil, but he was really just playing the long game.
