Enjoyed it and couldn't help but compare it to Blade Runner. I'm interested to see where it goes - particularly in issues of morality and self-awareness.

I was really excited for this show and the first episode surpassed my expectation.

I thought James Marsden was gonna be a visitor and that Ed Harris was one of the robots.
I thought it was pretty good. Going to be interesting to see what Ed Harris' characters purpose is. I assume it will tie in with what the two management characters where referencing when they talked about the management's big picture plan.
My biggest takeaway from the episode was the fantastic acting.
They've got a lot of heavy hitters - Anthony freaking Hopkins, Ed Harris, and others who have been very good in other big shows - and so far the minor players have been good too.
Apparently it's based on a movie from 1976, written by Michael Crichton.
That movie was great but would look way less so 40 years later.
This version could be brilliant.
The original movie has lost its luster over the years but Michael Crichton was pretty brilliant in starting to write the story as a book, then realizing it would be a better movie. Stopped the book then wrote the screenplay and directed the movie himself.
For real. I am thrilled to see Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton get these roles. Both are underrated in my opinion.
Good movie, a little dated now but it's worth seeing. I won't say anything about the plot of the movie here, I don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it.
