Well we know she is in the park right at the time of the Host Uprising*, because the gun didn't work, so the safety protocols were still enforced. Then she and her new companion go on the Tiger Hunt where the host mutters the "these violent delights..." line and shoots her companion. So we at least know that these events take place within that 2 week window of the uprising.
(*Unless that first scene was a previous timeline, possibly from months or even a year or two earlier.)
It would make sense that she would be MiBs daughter. We know the mother is dead, so maybe she is tagging along with her father, but refuses to follow him to his "playground" (WestWorld) and would rather be off by herself. She also wants nothing to do with the hosts, which may have to do with her father's obsession with the park. Although I found it interesting that she immediately began to reason with the host. If her father is MiB, wouldn't she know to try "Cease all motor functions" or some other kind of command to disable the host?
Also, Charlotte totally knows that Bernard is a host, so what game is she playing with him? I think we're all on the same page that Abernathy holds the "mind" of Delos Sr but I'm wondering if
Bernard was actually the first test of this and that he also holds Arnold's mind? It would make sense that Arnold would test this theory when Dolores killed him and then Ford perfected the "shell" by creating Bernard. It might explain Bernard's timelapses - that is when Arnold has taken over.

I think that could certainly be a possibility. the line "there is something happening here. And it's been happening for a long time" from the preview of next week shows, imo, that Abernathy isn't the only host with this deeper encryption. Given how integral Bernard is to this storyline, and how integral Arnold was to the park, it could make sense. I wonder if Bernard be able to see any semblance of himself (Arnold) in his code, due to how he was programmed.
