WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Yeah, his comment on fans missing the big matchup of the "top two players in the country" was pretty far out there. Never a good sign when you have advisors, "handlers", and parents weighing in on social media. And, yeah, 100% she transfers.

Makes you appreciate Julu and some of that actual top players even more. I am not sure Julu is the best in the country but she does manage all of the attention well. The press last year was trying to bait her into some sort of conflict with Clark and she won't bite, just came back with complaints to Clark and Iowa.
Also never a good sign when a person puts their nickname in their signature.

Kiyomi "The Product" Williams.

Any one know the status of the 2nd Utah player that went down? Hers looked pretty gnarly. Glad Tanke got an ‘intentional’ for that one….

From the Utah site:
"No update on timeline, but it’s not broken; I think high ankle sprain is the preliminary result right now,” head coach Gavin Peterson said of McQueen’s injury suffered against Iowa State. “I think there’s going to be more done by our medical team. I would estimate a few games, at least, missing, maybe longer, but we’ll have her back this season".

Virginia Tech at undefeated Georgia Tech now heading to double OT, tied at 92. GT hit a 3 as time expired in the first OT to tie it up.

Tennessee dropped their second straight game (at home, too), losing by two to LSU.

Texas up 62-19 on #18 Alabama with 2:15 to play IN THE 3RD.

UNC hands Duke its first ACC loss in OT, 53-46, in Chapel Hill. The game was tied at 16 at halftime. It sounds like it was painful to watch, judging by that score. UNC had the better FG percentage at 32. The teams combined for 47 turnovers.

A bit out of context with the "gotcha" headline but he's not all wrong.

“By the time you get to March, your kids are fried. Coaches are fried,” Schaefer said. “We’re the only sport we get no spring break, no Christmas, no Thanksgiving. I know there’s sports that go both semesters, but a lot of those sports get one, two or all three of those, we get none of them. And so it’s a really tough, tough grind for our kids and my staff, and so get off my soapbox.

“You probably knew I'd get on it when you asked the question.”

Hmmm…did he miss Christmas somewhere? Big 12 schedules a week off during the season.
