My local Minnesota Gophers have improved to 15-1 and 3-1 in the Big Ten. Not a bad start considering the injuries they have had. Think new coach Dawn Plitzuweit has quietly turned things around with some decent recruiting and coaching. Might have to pop over and catch a game this winter. Down side is they don't get on BTN much, just BTN+ streaming.
That is great, after losing both Mara Braun & Woodson for the season. Dawn seems to be a good fit at Minnesota.
Yup. And adding ranked recruits so not all of them are leaving the state now.
New polls came out. Utah vaulted into the Top 25 after winning in Hilton.

All Big 12 games this week are on Wednesday/Saturday. And all on ESPN+, no marquee channels for any of the games. Only one matchup of ranked teams, KSU at Utah so not much there for national attraction. Baylor is on the same road trip we are on, playing both AZ schools. WVU at OSU might be interesting.

This what the portal with little consequences to a player going there (sometimes no set out time) has done. A highly recruited player gets set down her agent says go to the portal some other team will get you..Im guessing she f*cked up pretty good to get benched, then going to Insta to whine. I'm guessing she's a real team player.
After a while I think coaches will quit taking fliers on malcontents.
As disappointing as this season is I really wouldn't want to see her transfer to ISU.
Wait until we have an annual "trade deadline" to transfer at the semester and be immediately eligible.
Yeah, his comment on fans missing the big matchup of the "top two players in the country" was pretty far out there. Never a good sign when you have advisors, "handlers", and parents weighing in on social media. And, yeah, 100% she transfers.
Makes you appreciate Julu and some of that actual top players even more. I am not sure Julu is the best in the country but she does manage all of the attention well. The press last year was trying to bait her into some sort of conflict with Clark and she won't bite, just came back with complaints to Clark and Iowa.
