Wish this UConn at ND game wasn't up against our MBB with Iowa. Can at least catch the 1st quarter. ND star Miles hurt her ankle but looks like she is checking back in.

Snapped this from another board. Yup, ND is rolling.

Crazy thing is ND has two losses. Both to Big 12 teams, TCU and Utah back to back in the Cayman Islands over Thanksgiving. Weird. I maybe get the TCU game, Prince had 20 PTS and 20 freakin' REB. I'll dismiss the 2nd loss as maybe two games in two days and playing in a resort gym but it's still sort of an outlier.

Bored and at home hobbled with a walking boot. Checked weekend slate and not much to watch. Back to doing Christmas cards and maybe hobble over to gym later.

If I remember I can turn on Michigan State hosting Iowa at 11:00. At least it's a ranked team matchup. MSU did add a highly sought after portal add in Grace VanSlooten. MSU has played nobody of note yet this year so Iowa has maybe an advantage after playing six "real" teams.

Will tune in ISU even though it's cupcake game versus a team that has lost by 30, 40, and 50 points in their P5 games. Glad it is an easy game since we have to travel and play UConn two days after. Just slot it in as a workout/scrimmage.

Tennessee hosted North Carolina Central earlier today and won 139-59. The Vols were 30-63. FROM THREE POINT RANGE.

SDSU Jackrabbits defeat UNI 68-53
Isn’t it crazy that the two hotshots for Drake and UNI have had a real difficult time duplicating those efforts. McDermott has come closest, but still nothing like what we saw. Dinnebier hasn’t even come close. Both teams are having a rough time of the non-con.

Definitely puzzling..

McDermott had 12 points today & was 0-4 from 3PT line. I didn't see the game, but the Jacks have wins over Creighton, Oregon, Rice, & Wisconsin. They lost a close game to Duke. They schedule some tough non-conference games. They have an upcoming game with the Longhorns in Austin on December 22. Pretty sure that they played South Carolina home (Pentagon in Sioux Falls)/away series in 2022 & 2023.

Still scratching my head as to why Tennessee felt it necessary to shoot 63 three pointers?

Stand around and play H-O-R-S-E and shoot a lot of threes might reduce the chance of someone getting hurt?

I mean that big of a mismatch doesn't offer enough "game" to offer an idota of "scrimmage" value so might as way just mess around and not get hurt.

Agree…but I was thinking from the sportsmanship standpoint…
