Has any player in recent ISU history improved as much in one area over her career as Pop has from the free throw line? 8-9 tonight, and they were good looking FT.

Is MC22 down for everybody? Just a blank screen for me right now.

exactly what I thought. Can't believe we weren't switching screens. Will probably look at that one againHow does she get that open? We have OT.
2) until the last few minutes...I was very confident on everybody at the free throw line..very nice.
Man, UT's posts play dirty. I haven't seen that kind of thug-ball since Marian Washington's Kansas teams physically beat the snot out of people and hoped that the refs were too stupid to notice (usually they were). Glad to see four 'Horns foul out - they deserved it.
Great win, but man, are we in trouble if the bigs find themselves on the bench early on. Brynn, Hallie, and Nikki can't play 40 minutes every game for the rest of the season and still expect to have something in the tank for March. Someone else is going to have to step up and provide better minutes (Kidd). This is a great start, though. Hope they can take care of Tech after the Raiders went to OSU and handed them their first loss of the season (not all that surprising, considering their mega-weak SOS).

IMHO, it is absolutely critical that Poppens and Prins stay out of foul trouble.....for the whole game, but in particular, in the first half of games. Also, this 7 person rotation is not going to cut it all season long. Someone else has to either step up or be developed to give more minutes....in the post I would guess Z, and in the guard court I would guess Hagedorn. If players have to keep putting in nearly 40 minutes (or more) per game....that can make them more prone to injury, plus it will lose you some games...especially later in the season. I hope they can figure something out.
Enemkpali is a thug, and should have been ejected on her last foul with Pop, it was flagrant. How Cokie Reed managed 19 minutes is beyond me, other than the fact the officials allowed her to ride our post players all over the place. Stafford-McGee is big and that's about it, not impressed at all with her.
I was really impressed with Anna and Pop handling the contact tonight, both players really handled it well. You can tell how much stronger Anna is this year from being healthy. 17 points in 23 minutes isn't bad.
Nikki was a beast late in the game - she played like a senior and really willed the team along.
