Walking Dead

Except for the rape (and I assume the guy had to have done something really bad to enrage Abraham that much) everything else was in the show tonight. Oh...and he didn't have to put his daughter down. The rest was there, tho, if you pieced it together...

lol what was the point of erik using the spoilers if you're going to post it anyway?

There was a lot of backlash on the quality of last weeks episode. Where is it for this one? The one tonight was horrendous. Worst of the series.

It was paced poorly (a common problem with TWD) but not horrible. If we would have gotten resolution with Eugene/Abraham (i.e. one of them dying after the big reveal) then it would have been a good episode. Without that it's average. Last week was boring.

Out on west coast thought walking dead might be on earlier...nope. It'll be 11pm central time by the time it comes on.

Oh good grief....that sneak peek they showed!

Daryl walks out carrying a smallish body wrapped in a sheet, out onto what looks like the hospital roof, and just as he's throwing it onto the fire, Carol walks out and says quietly "Thank you." What does it mean?!?!

No way. Are you serious? Did you miss all of Season 2?

I think the rule of thumb (yes, Boondock Saints reference) is if it shows up in Talking Dead that you don't have to use spoiler tags, but just in case:

I refuse to believe that is Beth that Daryl is carrying out in that sheet. I choose to believe that is Daryl cleaning up Carol's mess after she made Officer Dawn look at the flowers.

I've never read the comics, but always felt that Eugene was "full of it," calling himself a scientist. Apparently they continued with this storyline in the show.

Still, is there any hope in a cure? I mean, I still like the fact they had a goal to get to DC, and work on a cure. Eugene ripped that away in a hurry. I really wish they would come upon a REAL scientist or group that is indeed working on this/finding a cure. (In that, finding out HOW this all freaking happened, who started it, is this all biblical?, or some human virus that came about, etc...) But, that's just me.

That is the point of the show that makes it so different. There is no safety and no answers. It's watching a group try to hold on to their lives and try to maintain hope in a hopeless world.

Really liked the episode this week. Eugene parts were funny as hell. I thought he was full of crap, but I didn't think we would find out until the crew got close to D.C. Wonder what role he will have going forward? Probably end up zombie food by the end of the season.

So, does that group now just turn around and head back to the church to meet up with the rest? Seems like that makes the most sense for them.
