Verizon Outage

I'm in Ankeny. Currently no bars. It's been intermittent since around 10AM. Coworkers with Verizon having same issues.

My husband's is working fine. I can't send/receive texts OR phone calls.

I'm glad I saw this thread. After being hung up on four times by customer service and being told that I didn't have an account w/Verizon (over 20 years now) thru their online "help" portal...we were about to head to town to storm the gates at the Verizon store.

I had two SOS issues earlier this year (about a month apart), went to the verizon store both times. First time they switched out the chip in the iphone, and the other time they said Verizon had an outage.

Don't appear to be affected today.

I assume that was the SIM card? Otherwise your Verizon store has technicians far more competent that my local store.

Personal phone is SOS only. Work phone is fine.
