Trying to decide if it's covid or global warming.

In all seriousness, it's an hours long Cricket wireless commercial

The lack of communication from Verizon on any status update is baffling. They have had a single tweet over 4 hours ago. This is the biggest cell company in the US, not some mom and pop organization.

Their media relations department must also have a SOS signal.

Google Fi the only way to go. Myfiber at my house is blazing fast.

T-mobile in our area is bad. The wireless connection was solid, but I had times that I couldn’t get an internet page to load with a 5G signal and full bars.

Switched to Verizon and now can’t get a signal at all.

We looked in GoogleFi but the lack of compatibility with apple products was the deal breaker. Extra setup on the phones and no ability to connect an Apple Watch.

We switched from Verizon to T-Mobile last spring and have noticed very little difference other than a way cheaper phone bill. I think we're at 114 for three phones and a kids watch (4 total lines). Plus everyone got a new iphone for free with a trade in.

I use a prepaid carrier that utilizes Verizon towers, no issues so far

If T-Mobile was smart, they would throw out a very good deal to Port Verizon numbers over.

Google uses whatever is available. I have 5G basically anywhere I go and it will work internationally with a $10 add on.

Just got our service back as well. We couldn't make or receive calls or texts, and couldn't do either over wifi either. Luckily internet access over wifi still worked for other apps, so still had some communication.

Ya I won't use Apple because they're a hassle unless you do everything by their rules and pay extra for everything.

Kind of.

They don't offer incentives or sell them. Apple watches can't be connected to their network as cellular device. You can't use iPhone's built in voicemail app. There is extra setup involved for messaging.

Plus they don't support network switching, so it solely uses T-Mobile's network anyways. Going directly through T-Mobile is cheaper.

Ah. I would not pay extra to connect my Apple watch as a cellular device when you can tether to your phone. I didn't know about the other **** though.

My wife liked the idea of doing it with hers for when she was running around but we never activated it. She wouldn't have to carry her phone everywhere.

Ultimately, we'll probably put the younger kids on an apple watch as a transition from the Gizmo type watch before giving them a full phone.
