Didn't we get "Game Day Champion" t-shirts made after beating TCU in football a couple years ago? I can never find a link for those things.
I look forward to watching the replay!
The only asterisk is one thinks "Well, in a 'real' game Germany may not have subbed out Schweinsteiger and Goetze, etc"...but these seem about as legit as friendlies can be.

Went back and watched the highlights of this game (completely forgot about it while I was at work). The goals this trip to Europe, both in the Netherlands and Germany, have been simply fantastic. Not sure when we turned that corner, but wow.
Hopefully this trip means we're starting to get away from this team that (most of the time) looks respectable on the world stage but just can't get the win (1994 WC against Brazil, 2002 WC against Germany, 2006 WC against Italy and Ghana, 2010 WC against Slovenia (with help from the refs) and (again) Ghana, 2014 WC against Portugal, Germany, and Belgium, and countless times against Mexico in Mexico City, plus numerous other examples) and actually starting to turn into a legitimate force to be reckoned with.

You could say the same thing about our squad. The squad we brought was a B team -- missing Dempsey, Altidore, Bedoya, Geoff Cameron.
Just got home. Great game, that turn by Wood before his strike was glorious. Overall good game that was very fair and competitive with USA having the slight advantage and totally deserved the W. Big week with wins over NED and GER.
Bobby Wood with a real touch of class with that strike. This kid plays in the third division of German football!! He has been sensational in his few opportunities for the US this trip. Awesome win!
