I was curious enough to google it and here's what I found. His freshman year at Alabama, Saban suspended him for violation of team rules. Usually, that means he was caught smoking weed. He transferred to Texas after that and was suspended there after being arrested for criminal mischief. His Dodge Charger was booted for nonpayment of tickets and he wrecked the boot to get it off. He was suspended at Texas in August of 2022.

His stats: He's caught 5 passes over two years for a total of 79 yards. He only caught one pass at Texas. He was class of 2021 and was "only" a four-star under Rivals

Sounds to me like UCF dodged a bullet...

With those kind of stats the Iowa NIL would have thrown tons of cash his way.

I wouldn't be surprised if UCF used a bunch of NIL $ to get him. Looks like that NIL investment has gone up in smoke (pun intended).
