To the Naysayers:

We’re back to the McCarney/Rhoads era, somehow winning games that we shouldn’t (but dropping turds in games that we should win handily). But, let’s give mediocrity a standing ovation.
Back to Rhoads era is a stretch but you're right on the mediocrity part.

Proud of the guys still standing on defense, and glad Flora has an opportunity to return a kick. Rocco was slightly better today, but still pretty inaccurate. Glad to steal one, but that was ugly.

While not perfect, today was a great win for a shorthanded team on the road.

I did love going for it on 4th and short at the end there. Reminded me of early CMC at ISU.

I'm not sold that "we're back," yet. Rocco is still not where he needs to be to compete in the Big12. Receivers are still dropping passes left and right. The win was kinda flukey with Flora's punt return I don't think we had the bonehead penalties today that we had in the previous 4 weeks, but TCU obviously wasn't doing their best work. Hopefully it's a spark that gets them closer to firing on all cylinders, but they're are still some significant deficiencies that have yet to be addressed.

It’s not like we just beat a top five team. Mouser is still garbage. Rocco is on the struggle bus, receivers look good except they can’t catch the ball. Defense and special teams bailed us out today. Like I said earlier though, everyone acting like we just beat a top five team by making deuchy posts like this

I will take the flukey win after our flukey losses.

I’m not a naysayer but I’ve been super negative about this team over the last month. Doesn’t stop me from going to every home game and cheering from my couch for every away game.

It is possible to be critical of this team and still be a super fan. But maybe shittalking our own fanbase makes the OP feel better?
Read through the last few game threads. I had to stop, they are cesspools and it’s negatively impacting my opinion of a portion of this fan base. If some fans can endlessly savage *our* players, coaches, AD, etc., why are they themselves exempt? For some reason, fans are above reproach around here. I have no problem policing our own, that’s how it should be.

I’ll just say it’s nice for one of these to go our way. Seems like the past 4 games every toss up situation went against us. Bad calls, costly penalties, injuries, fluky plays by the opposition. Refs didn’t help us today, but fortunately tcu made more mistakes than we did.

To all the naysayers who complained about a four game losing streak in which the team looked totally out of wack and the coaches kept making questionable decisions that cost us wins and the quarterback was sub 50% in completions…**** YOU!
