To the Naysayers:

Heh, don’t think this is quite the performance we want to puff our chest over.

That said, they snuck one in. Proud of ‘em.
It wasn’t a well played game by any means.

But to overcome all the injuries, especially on defense, be down two scores in the fourth quarter, on the road, and still make the big plays to find a way to win is a great reason to puff your chest out IMO

Team has a lot of fight in them and never gives up. But we still face an uphill battle every week with injuries. And questionable coaching continues. But they made it happen in the 4th quarter.

Unexpected win! Go Clones.

I'm not arguing this point, but I wonder, is there a contradiction in what you write? Uphill battle with injuries, questionable coaching? Just a thought.

The offense is still inexcusably underperforming, the defense is over performing and Flora is a ******* man. Nothing changed my opinion
I think we should add an asterisk here. The running game has been good to great lately. It’s the passing game that has brought the running game down. Imagine if teams had to worry about our receivers not dropping balls.

What you say now?
I'm not a naysayer, but I don't think ISU's performance exactly shut them up. The Cyclones got outplayed today and were fortunate to win. Personally, I'm excited about the win today. It seems like we've had our fair share of games where we outplay the opponent and lose. It's nice to be on this side of the score.

I’m not a naysayer but I’ve been super negative about this team over the last month. Doesn’t stop me from going to every home game and cheering from my couch for every away game.

It is possible to be critical of this team and still be a super fan. But maybe shittalking our own fanbase makes the OP feel better?

True. The RBs (when healthy) and o line have done decent
