I hated Pollard when I was at ISU from 2006-2010. Our performance in the big two "football, basketball" was horrendous. After doing so bad in those two categories, he could only go up.

Without a doubt, he has engineered the turnaround of Iowa State Athletics.
He's worth his weight in gold. Can JP get some love and a contract extension?
Just emailed Pollard to say thank you and he replied right awayI am sure it was his admin or something but still.

Chizik is not a good coach.
You Chizik haters need to move on. It's sad you still hold a grudge. Get over yourself.
Yup. Because bad coaches win Championships.
Bad coaches don't win national championships. That is a very select group, whether you will admit it or not.
I just checked and gold is trading at $1,594.60 an oz. 16 oz in a pound so $25,513.60 a pound.
I would guess he weighs 200 lbs? (x 25,513.60)
You're saying he's only worth $5,102,720? If you meant per year I think you may be a little high but if you meant for a time period I'd say low.
Out of curiosity what is his current contract?
Chizik's coaching abilities are debatable. But he is NOT a leader of young men. If the Chiz is such a good coach how many here would let him coach their son?
Coach Rhoads on the other hand...
I think JP is growing with his time spent on the job, as well he should since he was a rookie a.d. I wasn't crazy about his grandstanding the first few years but he's now taking a much more behind the scenes approach, which is good because we need to have CPR and Fred as the faces of our athletic department.
What grandstanding??I think JP is growing with his time spent on the job, as well he should since he was a rookie a.d. I wasn't crazy about his grandstanding the first few years but he's now taking a much more behind the scenes approach, which is good because we need to have CPR and Fred as the faces of our athletic department. I do believe we are now in a good place for ISU athletics, especially football and basketball, and JP deserves credit (with huge assists from Auburn and Creighton).
