Time to lock up JP

Chizik is not a good coach.

I'm not one of those Chizik bashers. I actually was cheering for him in the NC game, and probably will cheer for them again in their bowl game this year. Chizik is a good coach. He just needed to find a place where he WANTED to be.

Oh here we go!!

Agree about JP though, he has been incredibly instrumental in many of the positive things happening at ISU!! Pay the man!

Volleyball ext. w/CJL
Football ext. w/CPR
Basketball w/FH (from all indications we are going to competitive)
W. Basketball w/BF lifetime contract

You Chizik haters need to move on. It's sad you still hold a grudge. Get over yourself.

If I don't drop my Chizik hate are you going to have me arrested?

Anyways back on topic

Well done by Jamie Pollard. This is a deal where everyone within ISU Football wins.

Agree...I remember a few years back (soon after he was hired) some people would say, "He's trying to make us like Wisconsin." (which, I never thought was a bad thing). I believe he is GREAT at what he does and it's paying off. Heck, we were darn near selling out games when we were a 2 win team a few years back. That momentum he built is paying off.

On a side note, I work at the university and have some interactions with him and I'm comfortable saying that he does things the right way. When we hear of scandals at other schools and such, I honestly could not see something like that bad happening here under his watch. He is an honest, ethical, and caring person.

I get that people generally tend to hate change, but to hate change that's bringing success (soon) like we haven't really seen before is really mind-boggling. We say we want it, he points out how to get it, and we complain. That's crazy.

Thanks, JP! Keep up the good work!

I don't think JP gets enough credit for how much he cares about ISU. Again, I don't think this is just a "job" for him. I think he is "all in."

I am willing to give him a bunch of my CF credits...

I love our whole athletic department situation right now, seriously SO PROUD.

One good measurement of an ISU AD is the amount of hate and venom from Iowa fans. Iowa fans hate Jamie Pollard on the same level as Osama Bin Laden.

It's the proof that he's trying (and succeeding) to elevate ISU on the national scene.

Can't remember an Iowa fan fuming about BVDV every 15 seconds like most do about Pollard.

People that bash JP are fools. And they will be back once we lose a few games or once Freddie has a couple bad outings.

Jaime Pollard is one of the best things to happen to this school in a very long time. He hasn't been perfect, but no one will be, and he has done a hell of a job. The differences between this program are really astounding if you think about it. A lot of people have contritubted to that, but JP is a huge part.

My biggest concern with Iowa State is that he leaves and we get another bad AD or the new president isn't as athletics friendly as he says he is. I think he will eventually. And I won't blame him when he does. But we need to hold onto him as long as possible.
