Alright, so I just ended another season of NCAA 2012. I can now kick BYU out of the Big 12 and add TCU. I'm guessing as soon as I start the new season, news will break. So relax people a Mizzou decision is soon to come, just as soon as i deal with my realingment.

Perhaps you yourself were created by the thread to provide the illusion that it wasn't self generated. Did the rumor of aTm leaving the big 12 come first, or did the thread??? :wideeyed:

Undoubtedly I was created by the thread. That's like asking if the chicken came before the egg and vice versa. Although I do believe that the thread was created first which gave Aggy the idea of moving to the SEC. Mind bottling I know.

I love TCU's Rose Bowl logo...ha.

LOL

If your theory is correct, others might also be true. Did Chuck Neinas manipulate the college football world to the point that he could leave his job as Big 8 commish to lead the lawsuit to get schools control over their own TV rights, leading ultimately to conference instability, firing of Dan Beebe, and his own reinstatement (albeit interim) years later in the same job he left? If so, who is Fake Dan Beebe?:wideeyed:

So if the Big East couldn't muster up enough support to even raise exit fees when they met last weekend, it is basically an admission that the ship is listing. Even public acknowledgement of this in newspaper reports is a CYA for league officials who want it known that they tried taking steps to improve the climate but few football schools would support it. Consider that even when it was darkest for the Big 12, we didn't have public accounts of emails and discussions held by officials--this is another signal.

The next school to announce they are leaving will ultimately be the school that kills Big East AQ football, so expect the process to be slow.

I think the writing is on the wall and the Big East is over as a AQ football conference--people are just positioning for the final blow up. Their main aim now is to become Conference USA Plus, a non AQ league with the best shot of getting an at large bid most years, and lots of great basketball.

Big East update...again the reason to pay attention is it affects B12 expansion options/probabilities should the B12 lose Mizzou and/or go to 12 teams.

1. Villanova trying to block Temple...maybe as leverage to give its own football team a chance to jump to the Big East

2. Louisville and West Virginia continue to pop up as possible B12 teams regardless what happens with Mizzou

3. Big East needs to get at least 8 football members to play womens basketball (for Title 9 rules) to maintain current status. Just adding the Air Force, Nave, and Boise as football members won't get them there.

I love how that author points out that a large part of Mizzou's motivation in leaving the Big 12 is to have that stupid ******* chant.
