In the presser last night Mizzou accredited their success as of late to the Big 12, now they are going to go to the SEC and sacrifice all that and get their teeth kicked in and triple their travel costs. Farewell!
Seems par for the course for Mizzou, at least to me. they were the ones that started the whole disruption of the BXII a year and a half ago when they said they were going to the Big Ten. Then, I remember someone posting something early this summer that was an article about Missouri being unhappy this year with the way things were going in the Big XII and they were looking to maybe move on. There is no doubt in my mind Missouri wants out of the Big XII and if they could just keep their God Damn mouths shut for 15 minutes, they probably would be gone. I am really getting sick and tired of the BS being thrown out here by everyone. Everyone keeps saying that they want to fix it, then in the same breath, they have to emphasize how they are still looking at all their options. I understand a lot of this is probably a power play, knowing Texas wants the Big XII for now, but for Christs sake, sit down at the table and work this **** out instead of everyone throwing around their two bits of nonsense.
IMO, Mizzou has as much of a little brother complex as aTm had. Relatively, probably larger. I think Mizzou wants to think of itself as a player, but they keep getting pushed back in the line when someone else steps up and says, "Oh, I'll take that spot you have open." I just don't get why teams think it's going to be so rosey every where else. The perceived power, really only is that, perceived. Does Mizzou really think they'll go into the SEC and be on completely equal ground as Auburn, Alabama, LSU and Florida? I have a feeling Vanderbilt doesnt' call to many shots in that league. How about the Big 10? When push comes to shove, IF tOSU were our big brother's name instead of Iowa, I doubt we'd have much problem getting in. The only difference in the Big XII and the B1G, SEC or PAC, is that everyone is willing to work together as opposed to tryign to climb to the top of a mountain that isn't there.
I'm still not sold Mizzou's ultimate hope isn't for the Big XII to collapse so they don't have to pay the exit fees.

No way Mizzou comes to the Big Ten....unless ND has already signed on the dotted line. Mizzou isn't the kind of school you add as #13...could be a #14, but I doubt that is even the case.
UNL gets the Big Ten a lot of exposure in St. Louis/Kansas City - adding Mizzou seems like a "meh" addition at best.

No ****! WTF? this conference looks like a bunch of god damn morons to everyone else in the country. "Oh ****, no one threatened leaving today, looks like we could save the conference, your turn to chime in Mizzou." We are the Lindsay Lohan of college sports. If our names not in the news today, we have to drink ourselves into a stuper and stir up some more trouble.
Honestly I am sick of this conference it will never get along, but what other options do we have? I just wish the big ten would call our number, but that is a wet dream. This crap is getting old and I am losing interest in college football (not ISU).
Big Ten, oh not this **** again!! At least I accept the fact that we are not getting into that conference, but some reason MIzzou seems to think they are. Mizzou get your head out of your ***.
How many Big Twelve Championships has MIzzou won in basketball or football? I think it is zero if I am wrong please school me on how many.
