I thought it looked like he did push him and it was unnecessary but it was not egregious by any means. And I hate when people say "Iowa fans would never do something like that" BS it was a dumb college student we were all dumb when we were young.
I've been stewing about this too. I've seen several responses that "they could find this kid in 5 minutes and ban him from Hilton" yada, yada.
It's clear he's just protecting his legs. Any contact was so incredibly minimal it is a moot point. It's sad to see grown people disparage a 19 year old kid because they are so chaffed because their sorry basketball team couldn't provide one little high point in their otherwise miserable little lives.
Then to edit a clip to make the kid look bad is beyond pathetic.

Yes, I watched the replay in HD after listening to the radio broadcast. I have absolutely no idea what is being talked about.
Guessing this "push" is a coping mechanism for the cold hard fact that ISU has been the vastly superior basketball program for a full two decades now.

Edit: I do hope Pemsl is OK. He was tearing up Brase on the block for a stretch there. For a while I was worried he was going to lead a comeback. Really good player.

I had zero idea what the big deal was until I saw this clip. Watch the full length, and there is no question the kid in the grey shirt did nothing wrong.

When I saw it live, I was thinking Brase was gonna come out of that worse than Pemsl.
I hope the kid is ok. He was really on a hot streak when that happened.
Not to mention all the students quickly got out of the way to let the Iowa trainers in to help. Then clapped for him when he got up and limped off. The kid in the red went out of his way to try to catch him.
