The “Push”

I was listening to the morning rush and you would think that the kid swept the leg and slammed him to the ground. They just need something to talk negatively about Iowa State, and this was a big nothingburger.

The only clips that I've seen are in slow motion. Like anything in slow-motion, it's impossible to determine intent unless you see something in live action. To me, it looked like Pemsl was coming towards the kid and he hunched over to protect his knees/ankles. Also, if you figure the whole thing took place in a matter of a second or so, I have a hard time believing the kid formed some kind of intent. But when you look in slow-mo, I can maybe see how it looks like that if you are looking for a reason for it to look bad.

In an event, it wouldn't be any kind of big deal had Iowa won. They are a sad bunch trying to find something to latch on to.

The only clip I saw doesn't show the second prior. It's very possible that he was losing his balance and fell over a bit. I want to see a full clip.

For those of that missed it, here is a clip:

Even if there was intent, I would say the kid leaned on him, not pushed.

Most of those clips of Iowa players aren't actually in slow motion.

This pisses me off to no end.

They are literally trying to disgrace this kid. Hard to shove someone when he's already on the *** damn ground.

The dumb **** who made the 2 second clip is a ******** moron.

It doesn't take a genius to look at the kids ankle and clearly see he had been rolled up on.

Hawk fans just need something to ***** about because their team is trash.

I'm done now. Happy Friday!

It took me a couple of times of watching the (slow-mo) replay to somewhat see what the hoks were getting salty about.
In the end I reached the conclusion that it looked like the fan was trying to protect himself from the greasy hok player tearing up his kicks.

As someone who edits films this was my take from the video. Whenever someone makes a video 2 secs long or edits it very short that means they are trying to hide something.

The Iowa player clearly bumps into the ISU fan who wobbles and braces themselves as they light nudge the player. Of course the edited video just shows the kid falling on the Iowa player. The kid wasn’t doing anything malicious. JFC hok fans.
