Actually, I think James should have tried to transfer to a MAC school like Ohio University or something? Maybe he did, and just didn't feel like it was the right move? But I think he's too good to drop down that far. He'll probably dominate at the Tiffin level. I think he could have started for quite a few Div I schools though.

Thanks to all for all the kind words. Actually without bragging we could have gone to alot of lower schools,but what did it was meeting the retired FBI agent who heads the criminal justice program at Tiffin. Since James older brother is an FBI agent and I was a police officer for fifteen years bofore becoming a judge we felt the education was the most important factor. Football will end for James in three years so maybe Tiffin can get him started in his field. Thanks to all of you,you will be truely missed.

Great to hear that James understands his situation in life and has his head on straight. For some kids, it's NFL or bust. And if they don't make the NFL, which most likely will not happen for 95% of the guys in college, then they have nothing to fall back on.
It's so refreshing to hear that James understands his position in life. He will most likely not be earning a living playing football, and he knows it. So many guys have these ultra inflated egos that think they are the best thing ever in football.
Best of luck to James and your family. This country needs a LOT more people like you.

Aside from the calling out I wish James and his family all the best. My only gripe is that I find the fonding over a poster with a limited connection to the program as a parent a little disturbing, its the equivalent to women and gossip magazines. Personally, I never said I had a problem with Capello and the such, I just disagree with family members posting on a message board because of the consequences of it. Thats my opinion, but as this site goes if you have an opposing opinion means I'm not a "fan" and not classy.

I never responded to any of your posts, but loved all of them. Very insightful. I wish not only James, but the Capello family the best of everything! I was glad to see James choosing Iowa State to begin his college career, but understand his reasoning.
If you could only give us updates now and again on how he's doing and how his new team is doing - I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate that very much.
But you know - 'ONCE A CYCLONE...ALWAYS A CYCLONE!' So you all have nothing to worry about and are welcome in our Cyclone family anytime you all wish!
