I was pretty excited with the Foo Fighters announcement. I am not a die hard fan, but I mostly enjoy their music. I signed up for the pre-sale, then I saw the price. I was rather shocked that the Foo Fighters charge $101 per ticket. I am happy that DM got this concert, but I am not a big enough fan to pay that.

Wow, can't believe they are charging that much per ticket. Ed Sheeran is like $60.

Side note: I went to Arroyo Seco last weekend in Pasadena and saw Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Live, Dawes, Alabama Shakes, and Tom Petty.

We decided to camp out at the main stage so we were third row center for the Shakes and Tom Petty. The Shakes were a bucket list for me and I couldn't believe how good Petty still sounds.

Serious? I was happy with $101, I was expecting to pay $150+.

Going to see QUEEN & adam lambert July 14th. Took the whole week off!
Surprised nobody else has said that they were going.

I know adam lambert is not a Freddie Mercury, but hey...I LIKE QUEEN!

Here's a peek at what I will see...enjoy!

Your 3rd sentence is explained by the first part of the 4th one. :) He actually does a very good job but Freddy Mercury is/was a beast.

I totally agree with you there as well. Having the honor to have seen Queen in all of their glory with Freddie Mercury (3 times to be exact) this will just be a Greatest Hits concert and could also be the last time I get to see Brian May and Roger Taylor in concert. Cannot wait though. That week will go extremely slow - I'm afraid. Good thing that I am training to ride from Algona to Clear Lake, so I will be busy riding the pavement that whole week...:D
