Thing is that is likely the only time ISU would play UCLA. If Fred really wants to coach CBB I'd prefer him at a place like UCLA or Florida where it would be rare to have to play him and ISU wouldn't recruit against him in the MW. I would have no problem rooting for him to succeed since it doesn't affect ISU/Prohm except for a couple of instances.
Fred going to a Big Ten or god forbid TX or KU or any school in the Big 12 would rub a lot of ISU fans the wrong way and I wouldn't be able to wish and all time Cyclone the best.

Musselman pretty much seems like the opposite of Alford which makes him probably one of the best people in the world.
