Perhaps the sarcasm is simply going over my head, but are there really this many fans that are upset by this? I mean I get a lot of them (I know Eric and Pride, for example, are being facetious), but there are some I really need to see a "jimlad" (and frankly hope they just forgot to insert it).

As for me, I didn't even know the games had started I'm that disinterested in the outcomes. I just want everyone to come back healthy and closer as a team. I'll start worrying about our record once the actual season starts. Would love to see them win these games, but if not, I'm not too concerned.

Not worried about the results at all. I'm more interested in seeing whether Nader, Thomas & Cooke are making significant strides. Quite frankly we know what we have in Niang, McKay and Morris. However, depth is going to be an issue this for the first semester. We don't have Burton until December 19th and that essentially means that we will have the same team plus Naz Long (recovering from serious hip surgery) and a freshman 3-star for the first semester. This is a challenging schedule with a lot of Power 5 opponents on neutral courts (Colorado, Virginia Tech & Illinois)...quite frankly the November 13th game against Colorado in Sioux Falls could be a situation where we only have 7-8 scholarships players (two of which are true freshmen).

@CycloneMBB: Cyclones unable to overcome turnovers and short bench in loss to hot-shooting Venezuela. http://t.co/LVFJNRDJbl http://t.co/3wwhQGRgWF

You can tell which team won and which team lost.

I'm guessing Prohm would rather wear Redskin shirts than win basketball games....Jesus people, I'm kidding.

This is the same Venezuela team that was beating the USA team 41-33 at half of the Pan Am games earlier this summer against half of our squad that was jet lagged playing with 2% of the offense and defense installed and playing by different rules and balls than they've played with all their lives.

We should all definitely freak out.

My sentiments exactly, but the last part is reality and as far as I'm concerned, I don't consider us a Top 10 team in Nov & Dec. I am expecting a loss to one of the Power 5 teams you mentioned. By March we possibly could be very good and in B12 contention, but not in Nov/Dec with (2) guys coming off surgery and Bruton out and new coaching strategies.
