Not sure if this deserves a thread of it's own but figured I'd post it. Southern is currently beating this school called Champion Baptist 88-10 with 11 mins left. Thought it was a score error when I first saw it. Apparently Southern scored the game's first 44 points.

Also Calvin Godfrey is playing for Southern.
Has 12 pts, 10 rbs, 3 blks, and 2 stls.

I think Champion Baptist is 4 levels of competition below Southern. Southern is D1 and Champion Baptist is below NAIA.

I've tried 3 times today to bring up the Champion Baptist website, and that thing won't load.
I just want to learn more. I know they're somewhere in Arkansas, but that's it.

There enrollment is 250...

They are in the Association of Christian College Athletics.

SB Nation already has a write up on this game and school. All you need to know about the school is written in that tweet.... sounds like a glorified rec-league.

- The person that Twitter says is the school's president, Eric Capaci, is also listed as the school's head basketball coach according to pretty much the only page that acknowledged that they have a basketball team, and his Twitter says he's a coach, so, yeah, that seems like it's a thing. - They are a member of the Association of Christian College Athletics, which is not in the same organizational tree as the NCAA. But the level appears to be, um, kind of low. It's probably considerably below D-2 or D-3.
- The link above tells us the school's enrollment is 250.

I thought Carroll IA HS WBB team getting beat 70-10 (or something close to that) earlier this fall was humiliating.

Why does the NCAA allow these games. There are enough D1 teams in basketball that there really shouldn't be any D1 vs non-D1 games outside of exhibition.
