Good for them being confident in their team. I don’t know if i necessarily share their optimism but anything can happen. I remember the Ark St boards last year thinking they’d jump up and bite ISU too.

The Ireland “hangover” is real. The trap game aspect is real. I just feel like this ISU team is deeper, and I guarantee a Matt Campbell team is not looking past anybody

The last post I see was @CloneLawman calling out LakesBison, which is hilarious.

Its a 6 poster circle jerk otherwise. A small time school is going to have pretty much majority delusional diehards posting so I don't find the tone of that message board surprising at all. I do like the one poster who talks about how much we are replacing this year when they are replacing like 80% plus of their team from last year, including a lot of their coaching staff. Apparently that still somehow works out in their favor.

The Ireland “hangover” is real.

Teams are 4-1 post Ireland matchup since 2022. (NW had a bye the following week) Stats don’t exactly indicate that it is as major of a factor as you’d think.

Keep in mind that they were in and out of there in roughly 72 hours. Little easier to adjust back to US time the less time you spend overseas.

Ahh, old lakesbison. The guy who was so upset about the school changing its mascot, that he threatened a state senator, and had to have a "talking to" by the state police.

Also, if I recall correctly, he used to claim to have been a member of one of their sports teams, baseball maybe, and that fact featured consistently in proving the legitimacy of his arguments. Difficulty: He wasn't in any of the pictures that were taken of the teams during the time he supposedly played, he never logged a statistic, and nobody remembered him being there.

He was as much of a joke with his own fanbase as he was with opponents.

Sometimes I miss that guy... but then I remember that there's another roll of toilet paper in the cabinet under the sink.

I sat near LakesBison during the NDSU game and talked to him after the game. He so badly wanted to be able to post on CF after that victory.

I can see USD covering the 15.5, but I have a hard time seeing the outright W they're hoping for without some big time mistakes by the Cyclones.

I’m not worried about us being ready for this game. I think we roll SD. Hopefully after this weekend the team will be back to a normal routine.

I'm expecting something like a 35-17 victory for us. Bouman has put up solid numbers at SD, but he's going up against an insanely stout defense. The way this team stopped the run in Dublin, I think we do the same and force him to throw a lot. It'll be interesting to see if him and his receivers are good enough to amount to much against the secondary.

I thoroughly enjoy a good dust up with an opposing teams forum. Well done lawman.

I think one of the funniest ones I’ve seen was when @CoachHines3 got into it with the Miami board last winter. Something about a corncob and kissing a relative I think is what got him banned. I can’t find it but someone should dig that up.
