Ahh, old lakesbison. The guy who was so upset about the school changing its mascot, that he threatened a state senator, and had to have a "talking to" by the state police.

Also, if I recall correctly, he used to claim to have been a member of one of their sports teams, baseball maybe, and that fact featured consistently in proving the legitimacy of his arguments. Difficulty: He wasn't in any of the pictures that were taken of the teams during the time he supposedly played, he never logged a statistic, and nobody remembered him being there.

He was as much of a joke with his own fanbase as he was with opponents.

Sometimes I miss that guy... but then I remember that there's another roll of toilet paper in the cabinet under the sink.
Depends on the day. Sometimes he played baseball, sometimes ran cross country and others was a male practice player for VB and WBB.

Never know what you're going to get with Sam...

got banned in about 2 mins. Had to of been some sort of a record
I felt like i was banned very fast from blackheart gold pants pretty quickly after the game last year. i dont think i can beat Hines record though

There always have to be some, and I don't blame them because whats the fun of saying we will get rolled because we are small time, but there are a couple over there that are pretty comical.

Anyone care to post some screenshots or quotes?
I tried to go through old threads but the one I would of thought I posted the screenshots from Hines throwing down about anal corncob insertions and giving his brother backrubs or something was a part of like 9 days worth of posts that weirdly appear to have been deleted.

someone needs to post the comment about Orange up in his locker!
I thought the same thing.

Yeah, I think a guy who has worked himself from over 4 bills down to a sculpted 325 (never thought I would say those two things together...) and is the centerpiece of a top 10 D1 defense is likely not lazy.

I would disagree in that Bouman does indeed need to play a perfect game and game of his life to win. That’s unless we have 3-4 turnovers and they score on special teams or a defensive TD.
I love the optimism from their fanbase, and no offense to Bouman, but if he was a P4 QB, then he'd be playing P4 football.

I expect Bouman to put up numbers, as i dont think the youth in our secondary has figured out everything in one week, and the whole "revenge" game aspect, but for conversastions sake, the last time Bouman played P4 competition was against a BAD Wisconsin team, and he threw for 114 yards and 0 TD's

Yeah agreed I don’t think he’s bad or anything and don’t think we’re gonna pick him off a bunch or anything but I also think they’re being too optimistic thinking they’re going to move it all over us.

They're going to bring everything they have. That's just the reality every time an FCS team plays an FBS team.

I think it'll be a fairly close 1st half, but over the course of 4 quarters, our line play (both sides) should have an advantage and we should capitalize. I think I saw on their message board that one of their 2-deep DTs is 245 lbs. It's hard to compete for 4 quarters if you don't have depth to rotate guys.
That's kind of where I'm at. I'm guessing their offense will be a little 'gimmicky' with extra wide splits and quicker than normal throws (think a 2000's TTech offense) to try and space out our front seven.

FWIW, yes he probably practiced against it, but this is the first game action against the 3-3-5

I could see them getting gimmicky, but their best Off player by far is their running back. They will want to give it to him. It won't work.

34-13 good guys. Book it.
Bouman will be licking his chops to beat us. USD fans think he's flawed. He's a statue and will try too much. A desperate QB throws picks.

The only hope they have is their DL (full of P4 transfers) can get through the ISU OL. If they can, they have a chance. I don't think they will.

Half Score: 31-3
Full time: 38-10

ISU is going to be ranked around 18th in FBS for this game.

9 out of 10 “Yotes” on that board expect an easy road win which would put them around #7 in fbs and have a chance to win the College Football Playoff against Texas or Ohio State.

My favorite is the guy who doesn’t realize ISU has been better at football than Nebraska for almost a quarter century.

Pre Campbell when we lost like 50 straight to Oklahoma we had three fan types:

50% realistic we’d get rolled again. (Usually right)

40% painting the perfect scenario it could be a close game. (Usually wrong)

10% talking about how Oklahoma sucks and ISU is loaded and going to win for sure. (Always dramatically wrong until Kempt game)

The people on that board are 0/50/50 in those groups.

Is a trap game a trap game if everyone calls it a trap game? I mean... aren't trap games, more trappy?

I can see USD covering the 15.5, but I have a hard time seeing the outright W they're hoping for without some big time mistakes by the Cyclones.
This is where I'm at. This is such a perfect trap game that no one at ISU will be taking this lightly. USD has way more question marks than we do. Not having good tape of their team is bad, but I think having a game under our belt is a major execution advantage. I don't bet, but if I did I'm taking ISU to cover.
