Not surprised at all. He's the one I expected to leave. Hope the best for him
For those that were making negative comments, and bagging on Simeon--shame on you! The young man was always positive, never was mopping around on the bench about NOT getting playing time. Can you recall a time when they showed him not smiling on the bench? Great team player/cheerleader. Arguably the best Iowa State has ever had!
I will legitimately miss watching him have fun on the sideline and pumping up the crowd. He joins the bench hall of fame along with Austen Macbeth.
He wasn't smiling here.
Yup. And the towel waver on the football team a few years back was damn good too.
I think I know the guy you were talking about...we loved him! Almost never got to play, but dang, he was a great cheerleader.
Hopefully Mr. Lard will take over that responsibility next season.
Hopefully, he won't. He'll be on the floor.
Don't we have trainers at the ready with towels if someone spills something?
Which thread did you read?
I read 5 pages of well wishes
There were a couple early on...they may have been removed.
Actually what I meant was that Mr. Lard would be the face on GTO's GIF. I'm 99% sure he'll see the floor a lot next year.
Simeon, best of luck to you. Cyclone Nation will always remember you as a player and a member of ISU. This young man had dreams and aspirations just like the rest of us, those of you who ridicule him should be ashamed of yourself.
Seemed like a good teammate and a likeable fellow. Some of my favorite Cyclone GIF's have him in it!
Hope he lands somewhere that he can get lots of PT.
Curious to see where SImeon ends up. Twitter search shows he's still on the market.
Would seem like a good candidate for a low major where his sheer ability can carry him, unless he wants to get really serious about basketball (this is assuming that the hearsay/rumors about him are correct).
If he wants to really get serious about his sideline cheerleading though, he should go to Monmouth.
Seems like he will go to Oakland. Everyone else does.
We are Marquette for them.
I always assumed he would end up at one of those smaller Carolina schools since he's from there.
