Scarier game, Tulsa or at Iowa?

I feel alittle the same. I believe it is because Tulsa is really the unknown for us as fans. Plus they've had some success and they'll be wanting to get us. Iowa always seems to think they put on that stupid **** bird helmet and it's over against us. I think we win both.

Scarier? Tulsa, because if we lose then all hell will break lose. There's a lot more to lose in this game.
Tougher? Iowa.
That said, I think we win both.

The Tulsa game is scarier only because its a game we are supposed to win. To outsiders looking in, Tulsa beating us at home, is a bigger deal than us losing at Iowa. I think both are going to be close competitive games.

If they were both home games, I would be more worried about Tulsa since it's the first game and there are many unknowns at this point. But we don't have a great track record in Kinnick so I'll pick Iowa being "scarier" on the road.

I'm more scared of the thought of losing to Tulsa than I am to Iowa. I think we have a better shot at beating Tulsa than we do Iowa.

Iowa... easily.

They have a great QB and the game is in their house.

We have already seen how bad Cody Green can be in JTS once.

The first game of the season is always the scariest for me. It's the culmination of months and months and months of waiting and reading interviews, scouting reports, etc. It's also the time when we get to see how the new faces can mix it up with the veterans and how that plays out on the field. Lots of questions are answered in that first weekend.

Tulsa only because its first - every game they play this year except maybe Western Illinois will be "scary" if scary means there is a possibility for a loss. The first game tends to be sloppy and sloppy against a team like Tulsa does scare me. I like Rhoads chances against an Iowa team that is simply not as good as they were the last time we played in Kinnick. We need to win games like that to keep moving forward. Last year it took 3 OT's to get it done, I think this year we get it done in regulation but most will not expect it to happen.

It maybe misplaced but I feel more confident in ISU's chances at Kinnick than I do against be Tulsa.

Iowa doesn't scare anyone. Tulsa could easily beat Iowa. The Hawks got a break of course with N. Illinois, who suspended 3-4 starters

If by "scary", you mean tougher, then it would be Iowa.

But the Tulsa game is a LOT more important IMO. If we beat Tulsa and lose to Iowa, that won't be the end of the world. But, if we lose to Tulsa, then I'd almost guarantee you that we will also lose to Iowa, and that would be the end of the world, or pretty darn close to it.

Losing to Tulsa puts us in a HUGE hole for making it to a bowl game this year. Iowa is a toss up game IMO.

Scarier is Tulsa only because it is sooner, and everything we have heard up till now can be for not if the team as a whole does not show up.....

Hopefully we have grown enough to stop making the non con games close. When was the last non con game you can remember that we just came out and dominated and you knew we were going to win from the start? With that said, we win both.

Kinnick is a tough, loud, bad mouthing crowd right on top of the benches, however, I think our team has the maturity this time around to block it out compared to the last time in IA City.

Tulsa game because weather outlook has afternoon rain and if jantz can't throw in the rain then tulsa can load the box.we dnt have a kicker with div 1 experience.cody green has won in ames before.he didn't impress me but didn't lose either.so I'm hoping for a close isu win but not getting hopes up.
