RTT...20-20 hindsight.

Yesterday was a pretty windy day. Some idiot left a tarp out so naturally it ended up in my yard and the wind all of a sudden stopped.

Congratulations on your new tarp. What are you going to use it for?

Me, I just got the usual windy garbage day trash in my yard. People who fill their trash and recycling so full that they can't close the lid - especially on a windy day - are a menace to society. It is especially maddening when it is clear that the only reason they can't close the lid is because they didn't bother to break any of the boxes down. Lazy people create more work for others.

How much does a beer or mixed drink (well not call alcohol) cost in your neck of the woods?

Since going alcohol free it has been pretty wild what they charge for mocktails and N/A beer in the Chicago area. $6-8 for beer and $12-14 for mocktails. I do it when I am out with friends but when regular beer is cheaper and mocktails are just as much, it just seems off.

There was a place in St.Louis during our march madness weekend that had N/A Busch for $1/ea during Happy Hour. I crushed 5 of them.

This was a recent conversation we had with two of my wife's cousins. The one cousin that quit drinking pays way more for her mocktails than her sister who does still drink.

I saw the tarp was gone, Looked out at the other side of the side of the house and saw it had blown across the street into someone else's yard.

Dang you dropped alcohol entirely? Good for you I still have the occasional.

Hey, @wxman1 - you still alive? Haven't seen you in a while. Anyhoo, if you want to follow along we depart this afternoon around 5p for Haneda via DEN and SFO, arriving there at 5am.

Return here is on 5/03, from Singapore to Tokyo to Houston to home. We also arrive home on 5/3 :D , late.
