County assessor sent me my new evaluation. Jacked my land price on the acreage up, but left my house the same. Basically proving the lot is more valuable than the house to everyone except me. Oh well.

Your house is just valuable to you because Lew is in it... ;)

Seriously though, the Garagemahal is probably jacking up the property value.

I mean me and KC&Lew are friends, but we've never visited each others home.

Sorry, I thought that was from KC. Major brain fart...

On my way to a job that can make you a little concerned. I am meeting a guy at a place then he’s gonna take me to another place. Show me something that maybe I’m working on or giving advice about, not 100% positive what I’ll be doing today.
Maybe a decade ago my wife made this request.

"I just bought an item off Craig's List. Can you meet this guy with a Russian accent in the parking lot behind Arby's at 9:30pm? Bring cash for the purchase"

We decided to rescue a dog over the weekend. Yesterday morning, we drove to the Animal Shelter in Monticello and made it back just in time for the game. We adopted a 4-month-old Blue Heeler/Beagle mix. Poor thing is quite skittish and spent most of the time hiding in the corner when we weren't holding her, but she's warming up quickly. She loves being outside but prefers to come inside soon after.

I'm not sure when I'll introduce her to Dog. While Dog is good with kids and other dogs, this young one needs more socialization first. We won’t be naming her “Dog 2”; instead, we’ll call her Tillie, with her formal name being Matilda. My wife tells me that despite having Blue Heeler in her, Tillie won’t be a working dog, and I have no intentions of making her one.

Dog is a Collie that someone dropped off in the county years ago, likely from Davenport. He actually does quite well with cattle and has even helped separate pigs. I wonder how he would do with sheep?

I can post a new family picture if interested.
We have a Blue Heeler/Beagle mix. She's a great dog and about 5 years old now. She does have an independent streak, had puppy energy for over 3 years, and is very food-driven. She's funny, affectionate, friendly, loves kids and is good-natured.

She wasn't really skittish when she was a puppy. She liked playing tug-of-war. She also liked sitting on laps. She would make us hold our arms out away from our bodies so that she could play tug while sitting on our laps.
