Took in Daniel Tosh at Stephen's tonight. Most of his stand-up out there is 10 years old since then he's gotten married with 2 kids. He's still got it. Laughed more at this show then Seinfeld, but Tosh's act is more to my kind of comedy though.

I miss Stephens (or CY as we used to call it). Back in the day we had a great time getting a variety in our calls being able to work a lot of events in both Hilton and CY with some exterior calls and a rare Scheman, Fisher, or stadium call mixed in. Ah, those were the days...
Of course we used to work an average of like 55 hours a week just to make ends meet.
If this were a college town and it was 35-40 years ago, there's a very good chance that one of my friends would have walked off with at least one of the stop signs.
The USPS is getting less and less efficient. There are always several days during the winter that the mail doesn't get to our neighborhood. The days of "Neither rain..." no longer apply. It's still pretty reliable. But efficient? Not so much.
Just got a weird call. This dude from church told me he always thought my name was spelled a certain way but he had gotten my number from my wife and it was different in the contact. I had to inform him that he was right and my wife was wrong.

Visitor here started showing signs of flu about Sat or Sun. I was fine. I had the flu shot - he did not. Nothing. Until Wednesday, suddenly a bit of throat tickle. Yesterday was not bad. Today I cannot talk, but I can sing really low, like Chantilly Lace. Sore throat, snot-bucket nose, tired, little/no appetite.
Thought I was going to get lucky and avoid it, but nope. Hope it starts getting better tomorrow.

Well, I did pee in the woods today and it was windy as heck up here.
Was looking at a little Great Horned Owl owlet and it nearly got blown off its perch in one big wind gust. Did a bit of a stumble on the branch but hung on and didn't fall. Wind gusts to 38 mph here.
