Got mail today. Had not delivered since Saturday

In that mail is a letter about an uncashed check for my mom from the hospital. Nice job of sending bills upon bills and then finally saying you have a refund 15 months after she passed. Then 5.5 years later sending a letter saying we haven’t heard from you recently. I’m guessing the mail went to her old address and was thrown.

This is going to be a fun chore to solve.

stomach flu making the rounds in coach H house

I’m the only one who hasn’t yaaked. Stomach has been wonky for a couple of days tho

Going on two weeks straight for me and most of my house. Middle kid had puking rounds 2 weeks apart with some Impetigo mixed in the middle. He was in the hospital getting 2 IV bags on Monday. I've had some form of Influenza B symptoms for two weeks. This cough and congestion absolutely won't leave and taking meds for a lung infection. Wife can barely talk right now. Oldest and youngest have had it for shorter periods but still off and on.

Three of us tested and all three had Influenza B.

Gave in to a suggestion to sign up with Dave Ramsey to try to get a better auto insurance premium.

I haven't even called the agent back (Nobody likes insurance issues).

But, I've got 3 times the average number of Potential Spam calls every day since. Usually get 1-3 per day. Been getting 8-12 last several days.

Dude, stop it. I shoveled snow this morning and had a snowball fight at lunchtime with the neighbor's little grandkids. There is 2 1/2 feet of snow on either side of the end of my driveway.

I'm about ready to shut off the TV and go to bed. Had rhe Miami/SMU game on, and they were replaying the handshake line video coming back from commercial to go to the studio. I did a hard double-take as I was faintly hearing the Miami pep band play their fight song. I temporarily forgot that Miami's fight song music is the same as my HS fight song music.

A lifetime ago there was a bar in Manchester, Iowa that would host game watches. (I believe this was some time after Boxster left town for Iowa State.) They had a jukebox (back when they actually had 45s in them) and at 111 in the jukebox was the Iowa fight song. During games every time Iowa scored the owner would pump a handfull of quarters in the jukebox and punch the 1 button just as fast as he could. If Iowa was scoring at all (back then, they actually did) the entire afternoon would be that god awful song on endless repeat.

I have to think that is kind of what hell is like.

Well waiting with bated breath to see where I come out in a random draw NCAA tourney pool. It was call in and they throw 64 names in the hat and draw to the bracket. Basically like buying FB squares. I was driving and called in and got my name in the hat. Hope I get a team in the top 8. Best would be ISU, no idea what I win even, but a local restaurant is the sponsor so I would guess gift certificate if I win.
