He was not the only one here that constantly criticized Jones last year. I was one of few people who defended Jones last year. I disagree with this narrative that Jones made a huge improvement from last year. He always has been a good defender and had decent post moves. His FG% is up this year because he is taking better shots. He is not forced to take difficult shots this year because we have more players that can create shots off dribble.
Rob improved a lot from year 1 to year 2 and just as much from last year to this. He is a significantly better passer out of both the low and high post. His FT shooting is better. He takes better shots and knows when it's not there. He's stronger. He moves better and, therefore, fouls less.

I agree that his surrounding cast is better, which has helped.

Boy, he set high goals, and really delivered. I got to watch him interact with my kids (and others), and he really delivered on #3. I’m proud to claim BRE as a Cyclone.

I've read on here he is tremendous with kids at the basketball camps.

His close in shots have been much softer this year, though. He has clearly put in the work and it shows.
