B-Fab BBQ in Huxley is really good.
Country House on Highway 30 at the RV dealer by Colo is good for a cheap filler.
If you're up for a drive Flatheads in St Anthony has good specials. (Marshall County)

I'm still mad the Gilbert corner closed down.

There used to be a good one in the actual town of Gilbert. It was about the only thing there. Not sure if it is still open.

Ya that place was awesome. Especially when the waitress was grumpy!

This isn't really Story County, but Pickle's Pub in Kamrar is pretty good. Just a quick drive up I-35. Great pizza and other food. If you want another place to try, but it is a bit farther, 209 Main in Paton is awesome!!!

I really want to like that place, but man it's just not good.

I am 100% in agreement. OddFellows is average at best food wise and the wait staff was terrible the only 2 times I have been there. A lot may have changed as I have not ventured back for over a year.

Pickles might be my fav in all central Iowa.

I've never had any problems at Oddfellows and enjoy the food, I will second Pickle's Pub. Good pizza and sandwiches there. Only been to Starbucks once and thought it was okay, but that may be because i'm comparing it to a drive-in in my hometown that blows it out of the water.
