I'm fairly sure from reading CF that they would be criticized even if they have an undefeated season and a national championship, something along the lines of not enough rebounding, too many turnovers, too low of a margin of victory.

Is it possible he meant more than 10 as including Shayok? I realize he's not eligible to play but he's available.... to practice.

Maybe not the thread for this and I'm probably not the first one to say it...coming off of a Final 4 season, Oklahoma lost some great seniors but brought in a great recruiting class of top-150 freshmen. They cut their teeth as true freshman and struggled and OU had a crappy year. But this year they will be a preseason top 25 team and their core will still have 2 more years together after this one. I would trade in one sub par season for another few year streak around the top 25, and I think that is exactly what we're gonna see

Personally, I'm not a big fan of writing off a season to rebuild. Losing becomes contagious. Plus, I don't think this mentality is remotely acceptable to Coach Steve Prohm. I think how Coach Hoiberg brought along Monte Morris is the ideal situation for a freshman. In the end I think we will sign 4 kids this spring- just a question of mix of sit vs. grad transfers. It might just draw out over the summer.

I just took from it that we will have all 4 of our scholarships filled by the start of next season.
I saw something saying Hans would have a decision by the end of the week so we'll see shortly I assume

In the end I think we will sign 4 kids this spring- just a question of mix of sit vs. grad transfers. It might just draw out over the summer.

I highly doubt 2 more are signed this spring unless the last spot is surprisingly filled by an immediately eligible lock starter at the 3 or 4/5. The last schollie will be (and should be) banked for a top shelf late summer/mid-year transfer or for a 2018 kid.

Sounds like recruiting is going well. Coach is only lamenting missing one player. If we don't miss on a player or two along the way we are not going after the best talent out there that we can hope to get. Always great to be a cyclone basketball fan.

They might just be prepping a version of this for each of his potential destinations, and someone accidentally hit the submit button too soon for the ISU version. But let's hope this is the right one!
