Why do we do this? I mean jump to the complete extreme to disprove a comment that is not relevant. Why can I not be excited about the level of high school recruiting while at the same time both disappointed the grad/transfer market didn't hit on our top targets for immediate impact next year, and still positive on the staff as a whole? Those positions don't have to be contradictory nor mutually exclusive.
They may be mutually exclusive for you. But most of us have seen what amounts to irrational comments come from certain folks, they will focus on the negative time and again.
So the guns are cocked and loaded, when some idiot automatically predicts a 10 win season because we did not get some national JC of the year. Really?
It would be cool to let the season play out a few weeks, before going into glass half empty mode, but I get it, some people are just gonna call out the negative, just in their DNA.
The people who are negative, time and time again, (not the occasional well that sucks guy) need our intervention to try and draw them away from the dark side.
Its hoops, its fun, its exciting to see what all those stud freshmen can do. Its should not be "geez we are playing a bunch of freshmen that will suck." Where is the fun in that?
