I knew the staff had interest but hadn't seen mention of an offer yet... Scott Phillips@phillipshoops 33m 2015 Evan Boudreaux (Team NLP/Lake Forest) lists offers from Northwestern, Boston College, Iowa, Iowa St, St Louis & DePaul.

Article on Reid Travis on Minn. site stating his four visits pretty much eliminates us for him, as well. But maybe this is old news.

This doesn't sound too great from out standpoint.

If he wants to play with Perkins, it doesn't sound good for UNC either. I have a feeling the RV recruitment will take a few more turns before next spring signing period. They could be media/ fan created, but it's we will know.

Macura has been offered by Miami, NC State and Minnesota today. The Minnesota is offer is obviously the one to watch with him.

Just a few weeks ago, 2015 forward Tyler Lydon debuted at No. 93 in the rankings. A native New Yorker who is going to prep at New Hampton (N.H.) Prep, Lydon is an athletic 6-foot-8 kid who can play inside or out. He didn't benefit from many quality touches, but he smoked home deep jumpers and made the best pass of the night when he set up 2014 four-star Malik Price-Martin in the lane for an and-one conversion. Lydon mentioned offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Boston College, Providence, Penn State and more, with growing interest from Florida and WakeForest. Just a hunch, but I bet Macura commits quickly to MN. Think he's been just waiting for a Big10 offer and will jump on the chance of being the first in-state kid to go to Pitino since the big 3 MN kids are dragging their's out or possibly going elsewhere.

lol @ hawk fan here.

You have a link for that?

I would worry about franny striking out with all of his top targets.

You may end up being right, he seems like a kid who would like to play at the Barn. Gopherhole is reporting that he was very excited with the offer yesterday.
Of course, it was also reported on there that he was going to commit to Butler on his visit a couple of weeks ago, and prior to that his family was rather upset that the U of M was dragging their feet on an offer.
One would think he would have gotten an offer earlier from the Minny, I am not sure how much of a priority he is with Pitino and staff. It was rumored yesterday was the first Richard really watched him. With Brad Stevens leaving Butler has to knock them down his list. I would consider him wide open at this point.
I did read on ESPN insider a week ago that he was hoping to decide in August on a school so we should know soon.
(Of course, he has recieved a number of offers recently so that may push back the date.)

Couple of ISU recruiting updates from Adias Invitiational (Macura) and Reebok Breakout Classic (O'Mara) from NE Basketball. I think CFH made an impression with J.P. I also haven't seen alot of O'Mara ISU association late so the blurb below suprised me a little. I think Xavier is the favorite, but it is obvious ISU has made some in roads.
J.P. Macura of Lakeville North (MN) stated that he is high on Kansas State, Iowa State and Butler. The 2014 prospect also mentioned interest from Xavier and Purdue. Macura recently picked up offers from North Carolina State, Minnesota and Miami (FL).
ADIDAS INVITATIONAL — DAY TWO | NBE Basketball Report

Sean O’Mara listed scholarship offers from 19 schools: Illinois-Chicago, SIU-Edwardsville, Iowa State, Xavier, Loyola-Chicago, La Salle, Saint Louis, Boston College, Virginia, Illinois, DePaul, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Georgia Tech, Lehigh, Oakland, Columbia, Seton Hall, and Dayton. Additionally, he is hearing from Wake Forest, Marquette, Gonzaga, and Belmont. O’Mara also said, “I’ve talked to Kansas and Duke, but I don’t think they’re really recruiting me.”

At this point O’Mara said that Loyola-Chicago, Iowa State, Xavier, and Virginia are the four schools standing out to him, with Xavier atop the list. O’Mara has been on unofficial visits to Illinois-Chicago, Iowa State, Xavier, Loyola-Chicago, Saint Louis, Illinois, DePaul, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Lehigh, Oakland, Dayton, and Notre Dame. The big man has no timetable for a commitment and is in “no real rush” to make a decision. As for future visits, O’Mara said, “I’m looking to maybe take an official visit to Xavier and Virginia right now.” He noted that no dates have been set.

I actually think he will be a Gopher. Not sure about quickly or not. He said he's going to take officials.

If he goes to K State I wonder who his coach will end up being.
