I actually think he will be a Gopher. Not sure about quickly or not. He said he's going to take officials.

If he goes to K State I wonder who his coach will end up being.

lol @ hawk fan here.

You have a link for that?

I would worry about franny striking out with all of his top targets.

Sorry, I must be a little dense this morning. I don't understand your reply to my post. What do you want a link for, and what did me mentioning Macura's MN offer have to do with Franny?

It wasn't but a couple weeks ago that Abu mentioned us in several outlets as one of the provrams recruiting him the hardest. I wouldn't read too much into it - the guys has a bazillion offers, and more on the way. I'll believe we're "out of it" when he releases a list w/o us mentioned.

that said, we better be going hard at Jaylen Johnson, and hopefully a few other post prospects.

This.
He normally mentions ISU and has said previously he hold the program in special regard cause they were one of the first to offer. Normally he declines to even name programs so he won't infer a leader. ZagsBlog is based in NYC and thus slants to St. Johns, Iona, Rutgers and other NE schools, he does a good job getting interviews and is fair but he need to pander to his readers a little.
No reason to panic until he cuts his list after the open period.

Except it doesn't always fall during the NBA calendar and most games tip after sunset.

Yes, But he did play in playoff games without eating nor drinking all day. And I don't know of any athlete that would try to eat a big meal, an hour or two before a game they are about to play, maybe you do.

I just want a few recruits to actually commit. We are in on a lot of fantastic talent, but it feels like we are losing some steam because there hasn't been a commit in awhile.

Iowa State is the first school to offer 2016 WE R1 (DE) PF Sedee Keita.

He is just getting on the radar, CFH offering early...

3. Vermont Academy is Getting a Potential Star

It was just last week that Vermont Academy head coach Jesse Bopp announced the addition of Sedee Keita, a six-foot-nine forward who plans to reclassify to the class of 2016 upon arriving at Vermont in the fall. This weekend, we got our first look at the young talent, and came away very impressed. Keita was part of a We-R-1 squad that took the u16 championship, and surrounded by a variety of other potential high-major prospects, Keita still managed to stand out with his obvious physical potential and budding skill set. While he certainly still has a long way to go, look for him to become one of New England’s top prospects in the class of 2016 upon his arrival

NERR - New England Basketball Recruiting Report

(From Kline) One of the most intriguing 2016 prospects from Friday night was 6-foot-9 center Sedee Keita. He said he hasn't heard from any schools, but as a big man with his skill set in his grade, that will change soon.

How much does someone's 1st major offer really matter anymore? We'll see if we even get on Abu's visit list. We know how things went with the guard from Wisc. etc, but yeah, still like getting on kids early. Keita sounds intersting to say the least.
