The city of Chicago actually reversed the flow of the Chicago River many years ago. There has been talk recently of changing it back again.

Told about a 2 months ago a surgeon bought this house by us. Still has the sold sign out front and never seen anybody there. Lawn is mowed so I guess I shouldn’t complain.

Another side of us, they are completely redoing this 10-12 year old house. Today they shut down our street to pump concrete for new sidewalks. Would have been cheaper to start over. They own case-IH dealerships, being a JD person I should be happy they don’t bring anything red home.

And these are better neighbors than the jack wagon who cut down our trees because they didn’t like them.

Pocket listings. Most realtors have a couple of those. Owner kinda wants to move and will for the right price, but doesn’t want people to know. Realtor likes it because they get both sides of the commission since other realtors don’t know so they can’t sell it.

There was a lot for sale north of our neighbors a block east of us. When no one was looking, I took the sign and shoved it in their yard. We all went golfing then. At the clubhouse their kids texted them upset that they were moving.

That sounds about right. It's priced pretty high (though it says they just dropped it $15k) and we're in a very, very strong seller's market. I'd not have noticed but friends bought nearby so I was curious what houses in our area are going for and saw this one a couple weeks ago. Thought maybe they just didn't have the sign up yet but after two weeks.......seems like they should have by now.
