Don't tell my wife he looks just like me. She thinks he looks more like her brother and dad. Of course I look more like her brother than I do my brother, oddly enough. My brother got my moms darker hair, and my sister and I are more blonde like my dad (when he did have hair).

I'm a little worried what my female progeny would look like as well. Mini-Hopp is pretty anyways though.
My girls got my eyes; probably my only redeeming trait. There is hope.

The teenage daughter is going to be on the field before the Twins game tonight. The team gave our school district tickets to give to students that do a significant amount of community service projects. It's also Star Wars Night. We're really trying to get her to put her hair up in ear buns. She probably won't do it but if they had Harry Potter Night I'm pretty she she'd go dressed in a Hogwarts robe and carry a wand. I guess this is probably considered a humblebrag.

She probably has the metallic bikini ready to go.

My boys are just the youngest away from all having the super geek Totin’ Chip. Hard to top that on the nerd shame level.

Your wife is soooooo wrong (of course, I haven't seen her brother or dad...maybe in the wedding photos...). He has your facial shape, your eyes, your smile, and if I'm reading her posts correctly, your attitude!

Ha. He actually has his uncles rebellious streak so far. I was a pretty chill kid. Uncle Max climbed 30 foot ladders as a toddler and snuck out of the house to play int he mud in the middle of the night.

He's got her dimples and her blue eyes, so that makes her feel better.

Just checked weather before heading out for a lakes ride and boy the forecast has changed. Was supposed to be warm and rainy rest of week, now looks hot and maybe some rain. 84, 90, 92, 94 and 94 for the next five days. This spring is all over the freaking place.

In other news...

Husband parks in different spot than usual because they're tearing up the street in front of work to replace the water main. Backs up into a pole leaving work. Cosmetic damage only...but blech.

When WBB has a Star Wars day the 2nd child dressed up as Princess Leia (from A New Hope) complete with ear buns. She got a free T-shirt out of the deal for dressing up. She leans a little more toward Star Wars than Harry Potter, her room decor is SW.

I pretty much have 2 sets of twins that are 8 yrs apart. The 15 and 7yr old look a lot alike and the 13 and 5yr old look a lot alike. And all 4 lean more toward my looks than hubby’s. We go to my hometown for the county fair every year and people know whose kids they are just by looking at them.

WARNING: Long story alert

TL;DR version: Im an idiot and should have started with the obvious.

So, my house has a toilet and shower in the basement (counts as a second bathroom, but its not really its own room). Toilet has worked fine since before I bought the house, shower never has.
Tonight, while insulating water lines and improving the efficiency of the house, I figured I had had enough and was going to figure out why it wasnt working.
I found the water line and traced it all over the place, to the shower past the shower, to the toilet and sink, etc. Couldnt find the damn shut off. To do this, i had to tear out some of the ceiling tiles.
Finally, after about giving up, I tried the obvious. CHANGING THE DAMN SHOWER HEAD!!!! Just like that, it worked.:mad::mad:

So yeah, I just spent the last hour or so tearing into **** that I didn't need to. I really need some time off......

Also, now Im itching to start the basement remodel. Problem is, I have about 100 other things on the list I want to get done first. Including blowing in insulation this weekend. Thankfully, my parents and brothers have been so kind to "volunteer" to help us with that. So, if any of you get tired of deinking, fishing, golfing, relaxing, or whatever else you are doing this weekend, feel free to come over. There is plenty to do.

This. @WooClone15 and @stormchaser2014 can bring craft beers and fresh cheese curds.

I can also bring a gift. Baby's first chainsaw.

Went to the tailgate tour in Okoboji tonight. Shook hands and got pictures with Coach Prohm and Coach Campbell. They are both as genuine in person as they seem in the media. Surprisingly there weren't any questions about uniforms. Lots of questions about incoming recruits and injuries and the usual coach-speak answers. Overall it was a pretty fun event. It's neat to have all of the big names in Cyclone Athletics in a small setting like that.
