That's what the Italian answered when asked if Italian men were loud during sex.

Damn KC you aren’t going to post your Map My Run, give a rolling mileage count, then throw in some mildly self deprecating comment to make it a “humble” brag? Get out!

Seriously though menopause does weird **** to your body. I see lots of women who never had belly weight who suddenly do even though they are skinny everywhere else. Hormonal changes are a *****.
Throw a majorly stressful workplace on top of it and I hit the trifecta!
My calves & ankles aren't any bigger than they were before; thighs are a little thicker. But everything above that has gone to ****!

Someone graduated Summa Cum Laude from home school?
I missed that. And what exactly is a 4.89 GPA? I thought it was stupid when at the start of my senior year they converted us over to a 4.33 GPA scale. You could get credit for an A+ but when they were converting our grades from a 4.00 scale they wouldn't allow my Junior year science teacher to change my grade from an A to an A+ even though I got 103%. Dumbest thing I ever heard. If you are going to change it, change it for the new freshmen coming in - especially if the alternative is changing the rules of the game half way through. I knew right then that my GPA was going to be worthless to colleges I was applying to. They would see a 4.33 scale and immediately throw it in the **** can.

Relax, girls - those posts were both intended to be funny!

I forgot that CyBirdy was a mother on mother's day - I was waiting for her to respond so that I could suggest it was a revenge omission! ;)

I'm short & round, and I'm well aware of it. I was slender once upon a time, but I was also a smoker. All in all, I'm better off this way.

However, last Feb, PapaLew & I joined a gym. We've been going 2-3 times a week. I've mentioned it a couple of times, but I don't talk about it all the time 'cause I'm scared Carvers will think I'm her BIL! ;)

I tried one of the classes and survived, but really paid for it later with knee & back pain. So we decided to work with a personal trainer to teach us how to use the equipment effectively based on our general health issues (my arthritis is a definite downside). Each of us has a weekly half-hour session with the trainer. I'm using a rower and stairs and some other "fun stuff" like weights & pulleys stuff to help my core. Also balancing pads to help increase my stability (I have been having some balance issues). The weight is not going quickly (only about 6 lbs so far)...but it's summer & we're more active now, so I'm optimistic. :D

And I DID do that whole Carlsbad Caverns thing last month! ;)

So you're not doing Crossfit?

Who am I kidding. If you were doing Crossfit you'd have told everyone already, multiple times.

Weighted classes. We have some 1.2 and 1.1 ones. So kids might actually take AP classes and the like instead of easy grade boosting ones to protect GPA.

If James Earl Jones can say something similar, you're good.

Just wait, we are probably going to try one more time for a girl, so there will likely be more adorb pictures.
Since the newest one is the spitting image of you, let's hope if it IS a girl, she takes after your wife!

This is great. I did tell him once I had a bunch of lifting repetitions with my fork.

He claims to have some top secret job where he can’t tell Family where he is going but Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snapchat get a freaking daily map of exactly where he is. It’s like hey, that top secret trip your brother is on is in San Francisco. Hope the terrorists don’t get any one kind of social media.
Obviously, he's sending his fitbit to SF and having it couriered around while he's probably in the 18th arrondissement protecting us from those that hate our freedom.

Mine all have coveted Whittling Chip, we know how to bring the nerd around here.
The teenage daughter is going to be on the field before the Twins game tonight. The team gave our school district tickets to give to students that do a significant amount of community service projects. It's also Star Wars Night. We're really trying to get her to put her hair up in ear buns. She probably won't do it but if they had Harry Potter Night I'm pretty she she'd go dressed in a Hogwarts robe and carry a wand. I guess this is probably considered a humblebrag.

Don't tell my wife he looks just like me. She thinks he looks more like her brother and dad. Of course I look more like her brother than I do my brother, oddly enough. My brother got my moms darker hair, and my sister and I are more blonde like my dad (when he did have hair).

I'm a little worried what my female progeny would look like as well. Mini-Hopp is pretty anyways though.
