Guys, help me. GF is in full blown puppy fever.
Well, she did say "Call Me Right Away!" and provided her number.
These things amuse me so I looked it up. "Office" is the post office in Blaine and number is a landline in Stillwater. Still could be worse, not a landline in China or Russia.![]()
A couple weeks ago, on our way back home from Wisconsin, we passed by the town of Plainfield. I pointed out to the vixen that Plainfield was the hometown of Ed Gein, the inspiration for such films as "Psycho", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and "Silence of the Lambs".
I thought she'd at least want to see his house (which burned to the ground shortly before his trial). All I got was a nonplussed expression and one word: "So?"
It popped up in FB. I dont spend time searching for Wisconsin news. Hence, I question the validity of your second great thought.First thought: Why in the hell are Missouri roofers working in Wisconsin? Don't they have enough work in Missouri?
Second thought: @CloneLawman has w-a-a-a-a-a-a-y too much time on his hands.![]()

I had lived in Wi for quite a while and hadn't heard of Ed then Jeffrey Dahmer happened, then I heard of Ed Gein. They've had their share of crazies. Nearest thing to that in Iowa might be the Villisca ax murders, but I think that was one family not strangers. Kind of crazy they took his car and some other possessions around the country like a carnival side show for a while.
I think he sees his nieces more often than we see our kids. Of course, it doesn't help much that the oldest is in Washington and the youngest is in Delaware...
Intoxication? Confusion? Panic? Ball?Never mind, I was in the wrong state.

I thought it was Plainfield, Iowa he was talking about. Then realized it was the drunkards instead.
There used to be a joke my dad would tell. What's Ed Gein's phone number? OI812.A couple weeks ago, on our way back home from Wisconsin, we passed by the town of Plainfield. Hey man...meat raffle! There used to be a joke my dad would tell. What's Ed Gein's phone number? OI812.
Actually, he only killed one person. Some clerk or waitress at a cafe IIRC. Shot her with a 22 rifle. When they arrested him, he made sure they knew he hadn't stolen any money. But I guess he robbed a lot of graves and liked to wear women's skin. Supposedly they found a nose in a coffee cup and a heart boiling in a pot.
I'm glad you weren't in Ball State.I thought it was Plainfield, Iowa he was talking about. Then realized it was the drunkards instead.
Too much hair. The one in Delaware is the Marine. He shaves his head.
